The Cocoon is Wood County’s comprehensive domestic and sexual violence agency providing shelter and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, sex trafficking, stalking, and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The collaborative effort between ZiggyZooms, The Cocoon Shelter, and Bowling Green State University (BGSU) was formed to provide specialized transportation to healthcare facilities for BGSU student and faculty survivors of sexual assault in Bowling Green, Ohio.
